Cut our salary to donate for Palestine?

this is the most ridiculous idea by one of the member of parliament that grab my attention to the news, not sure what he was talking about in the beginning but this was what I heard just now. This is due to my selective hearing maybe, but it was unacceptable. Really how can our MP say this? Why we are willing to help other country but fail to notice that there are many hardcore poor people his own country.furthermore we already donate some millions to them.
