Zul Hassan Deserve The Sacking

It is totally unacceptable that Zul Hassan said "what is important is we did not ask for the women. He supplied them to us. If people sedekah (donate), don’t you want to accept it?” What type of answer he is giving?

He further blamed that he has been framed. He didn't blame himself for the entire episod. He didn't blame himself for his sexual desire. If he can control his sexual desire, how can people frame him?

To Zul Hassan, you deserve the sacking.

Syed Hamid Albar Slapping His Own Face

It has been five days since Teresa Kok parent house hit by molotov cocktail.

The police still did not detain Teresa Kok and their parents under ISA, so called to protect their safety.

Home Minister Syed Hamid Albar is slapping his own face since he has said they are protecting her when they detained her for 1 week under ISA.

Syed Hamid, when are you going to sign the detention order to prove your sincerity and intergrity???

Or Please think carefully before you make statement or you are just slapping your own face again.

MCA + Gerakan ?

I don't see on why if MCA merge with Gerakan willl be a meaningless move as stated by LGE? I think that it will be the stepping stone on creating a 1 single party instead of branches off into smaller party like right now?

GERAKAN is about Movement

Parti Gerakan has tackled the impending issue head-on i.e. the issue of leaving the Barisan Nasional.

Whether they eventually leave or not is not important now that this party is matured enough to realise the need to consider this question unlike the MCA which still feel s cosy under UMNO's arms.

If indeed Gerakan leaves BN, it must ask itself as to what role it shall play as a party representing all races in Malaysia. This of course depends whether it shall join the Pakatan Rakyat which shares Gerakan's multi racial agenda.

The question would be, what would Gerakan gain by doing so? Well, at a time when the representation of the party at the national and state level is at its lowest, perhaps the real issue for Gerakan is one of survival.

Well, we shall all hope that Gerakan would listen to its grassroots and move on. Be the first to lead, Gerakan Olb Boy, since gerakan means movement in Malay.

MCA Election - Start

Yes, the MCA elections has come. From now on we shall be able to watch with glee how certain leaders of this party throw dirt on their comrades and then watch how the other comrades throw more dirt back.

It is hilarious to see how the MCA leaders still think that nothing has changed. That the Chinese community is still backing them.

This reminds me of Bertolucci's "The Last Emperor". When the already dethroned Emperor Pu Yi, after sensing some trouble asked one of his eunuchs what was happening outside the Palace Walls, the eunuch answered : "Nothing has changed Your Majesty". Just like in the MCA, the MCA top guns acting out their roles as eunuchs to the grassroots would tell them, "Nothing has changed, by the next elections, we will take back what we lost". My question is, "With what?"

Well, a lot has changed MCA ! Just open your eyes and ears and you shall see.

Some MCA leaders still think that by keeping mum on current issues and just by minding their own usual good for nothing business in the party, the problem will go away and they would eventually return to the norm.

You see, some of these smarties are still in dreamland.

I have heard how MCA leaders speak in functions. They just blabber on about how the MCA is doing everything in the name of unity. Just like how a kindergarten teacher would speak to his/her kindergarten kids.

They, the MCA people has no idea that when you go up on stage to speak, you speak of something that is of importance to the audience and not speak for the sake of speaking. By this public display we can see how the party is not insync with current developments.

The party simply has no idea how to steer the Chinese community into the future. It simply has no idea how to protect Chinese rights in the midst of a multi racial scenario. It just listen to what UMNO has to say and then just explain to the Chinese why they must listen to UMNO.

If you ask me now, I take back what I said earlier about the need for MCA to leave the BN.

If you ask me now, I think the MCA should just desolve and forget about Malaysian politics since you are of no real relevance anymore to the Chinese community when even a Malay like Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim can appreciate more than you about what the Chinese community needs in this country.

MCA you are defunct!

Hari Raya - Raja Petra

I would like to wish all readers of this blog Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Fitri and Maaf Zahir Batin. If you are traveling this season, may you have a safe and happy journey back to your home town. As for those who are going on a vacation, like yours truly, I would like to wish all of you Happy Discovery and may you have a wonderful time, wherever you are.

I am sure most of you have met people who discourage us from wishing our friends of other faiths well during their festivities. Some say that it is not right for a person to celebrate the joy and spirit of another person’s religion. I find these people very daunting indeed.

Regardless of what the government and religious zealots (sometimes they are the same people) try to tell us, Malaysians have been celebrating each others’ festivals since we started living together in this beloved country long ago. We, the rakyat should stand united and reject the segregating prophecies of these doomsayers, who have been trying to divide our society all these years.

Let us celebrate this wonderful feast in our own special way and join hands with our friends and family to propel the country towards freedom, justice and equality.

Malaysia: Its OK to negotiate with Terrorist / Pirates?

Malaysia is probably a good victim for terrorist and pirates since we actually bow to terrorist and pirate demands. The recent news of USD 4 million being paid out to release 2 Malaysian confirms that. God knows the ransom monies obtain could be used to purchase more guns and vessels for future hijacks and probably killing of more innocent civilian lives. I wonder if Malaysia's recent action contributes to more violence in Somalia. On the other end, the lives of Malaysian are saved.

What should have been done? To pay or not to pay the ransom? Your 2 cents.

Trains Collide on LRT, still want Nuclear Power?

The LRT is supposed to be highly automated and a fail-safe system. And yet, we see a collision.

Now, here is something to ponder... we want a nuclear power plant, who is going to make sure that there is not going to be any technical problem or failure, EVER?

With our Malaysian "tidak apa" attitude, do you really want to have this plant in Malaysia?

In fact, just ask yourself this question: "will you move from your house if this plant is going to be located within your neighbourhood?

10 cent reduction on fuel a joke

What an economic joke. The fuel price has dropped ... 10 cents ... But the whole article doesn't mention about the world's crude oil price which is around USD 105 now ... + / - a few dollars.

When they wanted to raise petrol prices, all they could do is mention the crude oil price at USD 140 and the possibilities of it going higher ... when they wanted to lower the prices, all of a sudden, they seemed to have forgotten about the crude oil price and could only mention that the drop of the petrol and diesel prices in Malaysia.

Crude oil prices are now very shaky and the trend seems to be heading downwards except for the fact that some nigerian morons bent to destroying the country's pipeline.

10 cents isn't going to help much since that prices of consumer goods and services have gone up and will not come down. No wonder, there are so many people complaining about the goverment nowadays. Haiya .....

What Does A Good Government Need To Avoid Causing Frustration among Rakyat?

Perhaps it's time for me to "lecture" the BN Govt on what it really need to learn if it's to stop causing more anguish and frustration among the People.

[F] air and Firm - Punishment meted out to offending individuals who threaten the unity of this country should not only be firm, but be perceived as fair to everyone ( Reference : Bukit Bendera Ahmad's case )

[R] ational - Development policies for this country has to be rational. ( Reference : Space Program - it makes no "cents" and sense why the Govt is so adamant to continue this costly program at a time when our strained economy is causing so much hardship to the Rakyat. Long term projects like this should be shelved until the country has fully weathered the increasing inflation crisis. )

[U] nderstanding - The Government must be sincere in trying to understand the Rakyat's problems , needs and wants. ( Reference : Domestic Transport Systems vs Space Program - Its a no brainer which one is a priority, but is the Govt understanding the Rakyat's needs? )

[S] mart - We need a smart Govt to handle all domestic problems and not one who is pretending to be intellectually enhanced ( Reference : Illegal immigrants and Rakyat's safety vs more military build-up. I wonder how the Govt plan to use the 2 newly acquired submarines to combat illegal immigrants who have already landed! )

[T] rustworthy - The people wants a Government who is clean from corruption and not a honey bear who constantly dip its paw into the honey jar ( Reference : Dubious NEP policies where fundings meant for the hardcore poor are being channelled into dubious companies owned by rich and well-connected Tan Sri's and Dato's. )

So, perhaps the BN Govt now might understand a little of the People's frustrations? No? Anyway, i don't expect it to.
