With the fall of the PR government in Perak, we are now witnessing the re-emergence of 'Ketaunan Malayu' power in the state. Of the 31 BN Aduns in the Dewan Undangan Negeri, only two Aduns are non-Malays i.e. one from MCA and an Independent (formerly from DAP). Looking at their last 51 years of record, I am very skeptical as to the ability of this almost 100% UMNO dominated government to deliver justice to the people of Perak.
When BN recaptured Terengganu from PAS in 2004, all policies carried out by PAS were dismantled including the cancellation of about 1,000 land grants issued to the landless. Please cross your fingers Perakians.
